Mrs. Denise Tucker

Mrs.Tucker holds a B.S. in Education in Special Education and Elementary Education, as well as a M.Ed. degree in Administration. Mrs. Tucker began her career teaching gifted learning disabled students in Chevy Chase, MD, and then spent two years at a private school in Washington, D.C. She served as a Math and Science Coordinator and teacher for  junior high and high school students who were learning disabled, emotionally  disabled, and/or developmentally disabled.

After marriage, Mrs. Tucker moved with her new army husband, Mike, to Rome, New York where she was responsible for the operation of the Communication and Travel Training Classroom at the  Jefferson Rehabilitation Center. When their family was assigned to Fort Campbell, Kentucky Mrs. Tucker taught at Norman Smith Elementary School in Clarksville where she was twice a member of the SACS accreditation team. She has been principal at Immaculate Conception School since its opening in August of 2000.

Mrs. Tucker and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters,  Alexandra and Lauren, who attended ICS before moving on to high school.

Our Clergy

Fr. David Gaffny

Picture
Fr. David Gaffny has served as pastor of Immaculate Conception parish, and administrator of Immaculate Conception School since August 2010.  His love of our students and school is apparent in every aspect of his involvement from planning sessions with the School Board to attendance at school functions and visiting classrooms.

Deacon Bob Berberich

Picture
Deacon Bob has served as the ICS Chaplain for many years.  He assists in weekly masses and special liturgical services, as well as being Altar Server Director.   His work with ICS students and training them to provide liturgical support for school and parish functions has allowed our students to develop a deep understanding of the functions of clergy and altar servers, as well as the rich history and traditions of the Catholic faith.
