Our Principal
Mrs. Tawnya Zeller
Tawnya Zeller was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas where she and her husband Patrick were married at Assumption Catholic Church. She graduated from Washburn University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B. Ed) with a Kindergarten-to-9th grade certification. Her teaching career began at Whitson Elementary School inTopeka where she served five years on the faculty as the lead 5th grade teacher and Chair of the Mathematics Committee for school accreditation. While teaching at Whitson, Tawnya earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from the University of Saint Mary located in Leavenworth, Kansas. In 2003, Patrick and Tawnya moved their family to Nashville, Tennessee where she spent two years working in Metro Nashville Public Schools as an ELL teacher. Following the stint at Metro, Tawnya spent the next seven years at St. Edward Catholic School in Nashville teaching 6th through 8th grade. In 2010, she completed a second Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEL), from Cumberland University located in Lebanon, Tennessee and started an Educational Doctorate (EdD) Program, which she hopes to complete by the end of 2013.
Her husband, Patrick, is an Operational Manager for Macy’s in Portland, Tennessee. They have one son, Quinton, who is the facilities manager for MCH, in Nashville.

Pam Loos
Pam is a native of Humphrey's County, Tennessee where she enjoyed growing up of a farm in a small community. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where she majored in Home Economics. Pam has been the Director of Immaculate Conception Preschool since 2002 and has been a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church since 1998. She and her husband, Dave, have 3 children, Daniel (11), Olivia (7), and Katie Grace (6) all of which are students at Immaculate Conception School and graduates of Immaculate Conception Preschool. Between the children's soccer, ballet and basketball, Pam enjoys traveling, scrapbooking and spending time back on the farm with her family.

Lisa Jasper
I’m married with one child - Alexandra. I have a B.S. in Education and a Masters of Education. I’ve taught Kindergarten and grades 1 to 5, as well as adults and college students. I like to travel, scrapbook, paint, and hang out on the golf course with my daughter. I also love a good book, sharing a meal with friends, traveling to new places, a good laugh and the beach! |

Carrie Stiglich
Our family is a military family and we have been in Clarksville since 2004. We have three daughters, Madisyn and Bailey, who both attend St. Mary's, and Sidney, who was born in December 2009. I am very excited to be part of the team helping your child experience growth spiritually, academically and personally. |
Third Grade
Kathy Kerchief
I received a B.A. in Secondary History Education from North Georgia College and State University in 2006 and continued my education at the University of Texas in San Antonio with an M.A. in History in 2008. I grew up in a military family and have lived all over the U.S. I love to travel, read and spend time outside and with family and friends. |
Fourth Grade
Stephanie Stafford
I’m married with three children—Grace is in high school, Noah and Katie are students here at ICS. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Sociology and I have my Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification for grades K-8. I like to read (Harry Potter is great!), ride bikes, watch football and old movies, listen to 80’s alternative music, and spend time with my family and friends. |
Fifth Grade
Anita Tolleson
I am a native of Adams, Tennessee (Robertson County) where I retired after teaching for thirty-one years. A graduate of Jo Byrns High School and Austin Peay State University, I am beginning my fourth year at ICS. I have two married, almost graduates of APSU and a two-year old grandson. |
Middle School Teacher
Jamie Pertl
My husband and I have two children, Josalyn and Austin, who currently attend ICS. I have a B.S. in Education and Geography, as well as an A.A. in Korean Language and Culture which I received while on active duty with the military, and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Special Education. Some of my favorite pasttimes include cooking, gardening, reading, running, yoga and home-improvement projects! |

Joyce Downey
My husband, Gregg, and I have two daughters in college. I have my Bachelor of Science degree and I was a regular substitute here at Immaculate Conception School for many years before taking the full-time position in 2006. I like sewing and gardening, relaxing with a good novel, swimming, talking and spending time with my two daughters. |

Nancy Diamond
My husband Basil and I have a son, a daughter and two grandchildren! I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1997 and a Master of Arts in Education in 2003. I started as the art teacher when ICS opened in 2000 and became the librarian in 2006. In my spare time I like art (of course!), cooking, cleaning, singing, reading, dancing, swimming and watching sunsets. |
Physical Education
JP Hogan
I was born and raised in Clarksville, attended Clarksville High School and Austin Peay State University. Prior to returning to Immaculate Conception as P.E. teacher, I lived and coached football in Indiana. I am also an Assistant Football Coach at CHS, and enjoy watching pro and college football as much as possible! |
Performing Arts (Music/Band)
Amy Watkins
My husband Griff and I have three children, Gavrie, Kathryn, and Mikaela, who attend ICS. I have a BS in Music Education and Trumpet Performance from the Eastman School of Music. I continued my Masters in Education at the University of Kansas. Some of my favorite things to do are spending time outdoors, creating fun things to do with my family, and having a good laugh. |
Spanish Language
Sylvia Kelly
I was born at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, grew up mainly here, at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and in Berlin, Germany. I did live a little in Rhode Island, Georgia, Minnesota and Florida but have been in Clarksville the last 14 years. My husband, John and I were married at ICC and have three boys and one girl ages 8-17. I have a BA in Spanish, from MTSU (and am highly qualified in French)with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Austin Peay. I have taught previously in a Montessori Preschool, and at Clarksville High School. I love teaching Spanish, reading, soccer, being outdoors and helping with various Scouting activities with my four children. My husband is a chef so we enjoy cooking (and eating) as a family. I am very excited to be part of ICS and have loved being a part of ICC since 1999. |
Counseling
Caroline Burdett, MA
Caroline received her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago and her Bachelor of Arts from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Ms. Burdett's previous experience includes providing one-on-one psychotherapy to children, working with homeless women in a social service agency, and providing tutoring and mentoring to an at-risk population of youth in Chicago. She is very happy to be at Immaculate Conception School! |
